Here’s a Spokane Valley home we shot right next to Shelley Lake! This was a home that had lots to photograph, between its large interior, large backyard, and its location right on the lake. Part of my job as a real estate photographer is to know what to capture, and what not to spend my time on, which is important especially on a home like this, because if I’m not careful, I could end up spending way more time on this home than I need to. That being said, in any type of photography, it’s always better to get a few more photos than you need. Whether it be because a client wants a photo you didn’t think was important, one of your photos doesn’t turn out as well as you thought, or you can’t decide between two photos in the moment so you just take both. It’s always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared.
