For our second featured portfolio post, I decided to highlight another Liberty Lake home. While we are based out of Spokane, WA, we serve the greater Spokane area including Liberty Lake. This is a growing town full of beautiful homes such as this one, and it is a good example of what a real estate photographer like me loves to photograph. Here are some reasons why:
A Lived-In, Yet Clean Home
In real estate photography, I shoot all types of homes, ranging from empty and vacant, to still occupied and messy. A house like this is the best of both worlds, by having all the furniture to make I feel like a home, and still have none of the clutter that makes an image unpleasing to look at.
2. Adequate Natural Lighting
This home has good-sized windows in most of its rooms that allow natural light in to make an image look its best.
3. Good Weather and Right Time of Year
A clear, sunny sky is optimum for making a house look its best both inside and outside. It gives the desired contrast to the subject and makes colors pop. Also, this was taken in the late summer, while the grass is still green, and that makes the exterior shots even more pleasing.
I hope this post was able to help a realtor or home-seller like you know how to best show off your home, as well as give you an insight into the type of work we do here at Grand Showing Photography!
