Frequently Asked Questions
2 3Why should I have a headshot?
A professional headshot (also called a corporate headshot) is a necessity for professionals to promote themselves and their business effectively. You can display your headshot on company websites, business cards, social media profiles including LinkedIn, and more. Having a professional headshot portrays trusted professionalism, relatability, approachability, and that you are an expert in your field.
2 3How long will my photo session take?
About 15 minutes per person in our studio. If we are traveling to you, we will need extra time to set up and tear down.
2 3Which days are you available?
Every weekday, 9am-5:30pm. If you are scheduling an individual headshot in our studio, you can choose your exact appointment time when you book your shoot.
2 3Where is your studio located?
Here is our Studio Location. When you arrive, we will meet you under the dark green flag overhang located in the north east corner of the parking lot and show you to our studio. We also provide the option to come to you and your group or business for an additional fee that you can view on our pricing page.
2 3How often do I need a new headshot?
It is recommended to update your headshot at least every 2-3 years to provide an accurate image of yourself. Additionally, you may want to update your headshot if you feel that your current headshot does not meet your quality standards.
2 3How do I explain the style I want?
As you book your shoot online, you will have the ability to upload an example photo that shows us the style you are going for. You can use a friends photo, or any photo you find from the internet.
If you just want a good headshot photo and don’t care about the specifics, we’ll walk you through the simple process during your shoot.
2 3To whom do you provide headshots?
We provide headshots to all professions, including but not limited to managers, people in sales, lawyers, those looking for a new job, architects, doctors, real estate agents, C-Suite individuals, marketers, those running their own small business, website owners, models, actors, authors, those looking for a social media profile update, those transitioning from the military, those looking to make more connections and expand their network, and everyone in between!
2 3How do I receive my photos?
Once we are finished editing your photo(s), we email you a dropbox link to download them. You will not need a dropbox account to download the photos.
2 3When will I receive my photos?
Typically one to two days after your photoshoot depending on how busy we are. However, we offer same-day delivery for an additional fee.
2 3Do I select my own photos?
Of course! You will select your favorite photos while in our studio. We will then begin editing them and send each to you digitally once complete. The first photo is free with your shoot, while each additional photo comes with an additional fee. See the specific prices on our pricing page.
2 3Can you hide blemishes and shine?
Yes. All photos receive professional touch-ups during the editing process to remove blemishes, reduce shine, and reduce redness.
If possible, we recommend you bring along a friend or makeup artist to help reduce shiny skin which can be common. If that is not an option for you, we recommend you come prepared with makeup of your own. Read this article from makeup.com Tips for Reducing Shine, for more guidance.
